St. John-Emmanuel Lutheran School exists to provide students with a Christ-centered, academically challenging education in a caring and nurturing environment for a life of service and discipleship.
St. John-Emanuel Lutheran School is a parochial grade school established by and supported by Saint John Lutheran Church (Flatrock) and Emmanuel Lutheran Church (Soest). St. John-Emmanuel Lutheran School is accredited by the state of Indiana and has National Lutheran School Accreditation. Children at St. John-Emmanuel attend one of two campuses which focus on the specific developmental needs of the students. Children in three-year-old preschool through third grade attend our Emmanuel campus, while fourth through eighth graders attend our Saint John campus.
The two congregations, Saint John (Flatrock) and Emmanuel (Soest) support the school in many ways: prayerfully, financially, and in many other ways. If you are looking for a school where your child will grow in the knowledge and practice of the Christian faith, and grow in academics, relationships, and emotionally sound ways, please contact us to find out how we can minister to your child.
